Swagruha Indian Cuisine Reviews

Food was really good, paneer biryani was too good.

This is a quaint but very authentic Southern Indian restaurant. I had the muhglai goat and garlic naan. Both were fantastic, the muhglai had enough heat, but not too much!

Mandi was very good and really tasty with lots of flavours.

Being a Hyderabadi it’s surely a task to say that briyanis and Mandi’s are awesome but surely this chicken and mutton Mandi was simply awesome, and the staff was friendly too, though it was busy they could serve us food in no time. Well, definitely reminded me back home. So it’s yummy yummy happy tummy

I had a fantastic dining experience . Biryani was perfectly spiced, and the parota was soft and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive, making great recommendations. The cozy ambiance with traditional music added to the charm. Great value for the portion sizes! Highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine.

This is our 3rd time visiting this restaurant. Every time our meal has been absolutely delicious! Portions are large, however, we usually come in hungry from a local kayak race, so we leave little on our plates! The spice level is good, as they are accommodating to your taste buds. The last time my boyfriend ordered a pepper dish and he was sweating while eating it. I tasted it and thought it was great. I can handle more spice than he can. This time I had a goat curry as suggested by the owner. He made it with coconut milk, since I can’t have dairy. My boyfriend got the chicken 555. It’s fabulous! I actually ordered that the last time, not realizing it contained dairy (I thought it had coconut milk in it). I asked for extra hot. Learning this time that it contained dairy, explains my tummy issues the following day and not from the spice level. Not their fault, it was mine- also because I couldn’t stop eating it. It was so good. We normally get the dosa. It comes with a variety of sauces and contains a spiced potato mixture. If you haven’t had it, you need to order it just to try it. I’ve included a picture of it as well. I’m so glad the owner was there so he could explain things. The last two times we had a few language barriers understanding (like me asking if dairy was in my dish). By everyone coming in, this seems to be the choice for Indian cuisine. I will keep coming back. That’s for sure. It’s the best we have had. Hands down!
